Lexi Kiemele #125 - Women
This months Thomas MX School Rider of the Month goes to the #123 Honda mounted rider, Lexi Kiemele. For a girl that has only been riding for under a year and is winning almost every moto in the women class should be recognized! Lexi not only has improved 100% in the past 2 months but has won almost every moto and got almost every holeshot she’s been in during the Clark County Arenacross! Jumping, cornering, body position and her mental aspect of riding has been amazing! Look for Lexi at your next local race in the lead! Great Job Lexi!

December 2009 Rider of the Month
Roberto Soltero #486 - 250 Jr
This months Thomas MX Schools Rider of the Month goes out to Roberto Soltero of the AES Racing Team. Roberto has been improving with every ride and training session we have done. Jeff Money of the AES Racing Team have dedicated this winter to getting all of the riders up to the next level and Roberto has shown to be the top of the class lately! This past weekend (December 6th) at Oakwood Arenacross, Roberto was sent out with the B class even though he is in the C class, got the holeshot and beat all of the B riders! That in itself is a huge accomplishment! Roberto has also matured into a safer and cleaner riding style and has learned that slowing down sometimes makes you go faster. Keep up the great work bud and Ill see you at the next training session!

November 2009 Rider of the Month
Sydney Dickson #88 - Women Sportsman
November’s Thomas MX School “ROTM” goes to the up and coming womens class rider, Sydney Dickson. Sydney has proved to me countless times in the past few months that she has the drive, ambition and natural talent to do what it takes to be at the top of her class and with impressive finishes, on and off the track strength and competitiveness, has earned her spot to be the rider of the month! Sydney has been training as hard as ever on the track, in the gym and with her diet. Look for the #88 DeVol backed KTM 250sx to be at the top of the podium on a regular basis. Great job Sydney and I look forward to seeing you at the track soon! Keep up your hard work!

October 2009 Rider of the Month
Cody Money #715 - 250 Jr / Unlimited Jr
Thomas MX Schools “ROTM” is AES Racing’s Cody Money. Top Gun at Washougal MX Park was his first race back from a scary crash he had 2 months prior at Washougal during a P.R.O. race, when he endowed off of a huge kicker in the Hillsboro whoops. After a short hospital trip, they found that he had a very badly broken nose and many bruised muscles and joints. After healing up, he came to P.R.O.’s Top Gun race in the Jr. class swinging and with nothing to loose he pulled off his first moto win and a few other top 5 finishes as well! Since the AES Team has put Cody on a Yamaha he has been on fire!
This past weekend at Dodge Amateur National he had some very bad luck but did end up pulling out a 10th place finish in one class. Cody has been working very hard and it is finally starting to show. Keep having fun and keep pushing Cody!
I would also like to thank the AES Racing and Baker Racing Tech Team for having me there to help and having a great Top Gun Team! Everyone rode great, the pit presence was totally professional, the food was great and I think everyone had an awesome time at the event! Overall Team AES/ BRT finished 10th out of the 60 some teams that were entered! Great Job and thanks for all the fun on and off the track! Check back next month for Novembers “ROTM” |
September 2009 Riders of the Month
Courtney Springer #357 - Women's
Joey Ruminer # - 250/450 Pro
This months Thomas MX Schools rider of the month is not only 1 person this time. Joey RuminerJr.and Courtney Springer have both shown unbelievable talent and heart at this years Loretta Lynns Amateur National and in previous races. Both riders came back with some of the top finishes out of the Washington riders that attended the race. With the heat, humidity and competition eating up riders left and right, these 2 highly competitive riders never let any of the distractions affect either of theirlaptimes all week. Both Joey and Courtney’s last lap times were usually their fastest laps in the grueling 20 min plus 2 lap motos! The track was as brutal as it ever has been in the past and Joey and Courtney have shown that the harder you work good things will come! I cant say enough about the heart and drive that both of these riders have shown and I am very proud to say that these two ride for and represent Thomas MX Schools! Good luck and keep up the hard charging!

August 2009 Rider of the Month
Jake Anstett #474 250/450 Pro
Jake Anstet is Thomas MX Schools August rider of the month for his performance at the 2009 Washougal Nationals. Jake has been a TMX School rider since Seattle Supercross in April of 2009 and has been doing a great job since we have worked together! Jake pushed his way from mid packed starts in the Lites class to the top 25 position in both motos. Bike problems stopped him from a 2nd moto top 20 finish but he was still very impressive to watch!
Many factory riders should watch out for this kid next year!
Great job Jake! |
July 2009 Rider of the Month
Quentin Money #794 250/450 Beg
Quentin Money of the AES Racing Team is the July 2009 Thomas MX Schools Rider of the Month. Quentin has shown a huge improvement over the past 2 months. His biggest achievments is winning 3 out of the 4 overalls in the 250/450 Beginner Class at the High Point Series at Washougal. On another note, Quentin has been dominating the holeshots as well by going 8 for 8 holeshots at the last P.R.O. Race in Spokane and this past weekend at Washougal going 8 for 8 in all of those classes too! Quentin has also been working as hard as he can on his cornering speed. He is an unbelievable jumper and now his transition to faster corners will help him out to taking the next step to the Jr. class!
Good luck in the future Quentin and I look forward to watching your holeshots and moto wins at the next race! Keep up the good work buddy! |
